Merit Entertainment has announced that its Megatouch Force is replacing the Maxx as its legacy product line. As it looks to the future with the now-established ION and its cutting-edge Aurora games, Merit is committed to continued software development and support for its veteran Force games. Merit will also continue to offer Maxx-to-Force upgrade kits. However, effective immediately, the company will no longer offer support for Maxx systems.
Maxx operators who still wish to obtain a final software upgrade for the system may purchase Maxx Crown, which includes new hits like Card Raiders. Maxx Crown will remain available through distributors until Aug. 31, 2007.
