recently that the Russian National Vending Association has joined to
become its 19th Full Member.
May 27, 2008, Brussels - The European Vending Association announced recently that the Russian National Vending Association has joined to become its 19th Full Member.
Valery A. Rakitskiy, RNVA’s newly elected President said: "We were honored of the presence of the EVA at the Moscow Vending Expo in March and welcome the value that the EVA will bring to the Russian vending industry and its annual trade show. The Russian Operators are eager to learn from their Western European colleagues and develop the vending business in Russia”.
Catherine Piana, Director General of the EVA, commented: “I am pleased to welcome the Russian Vending Association into the EVA; I believe it has a huge potential, and the presence of a number of EVA Members on the Russian market illustrates the interest for that market. Russia is a market for new and sophisticated machines, which will contribute to positioning vending in a positive way vis-à-vis the Russian consumers and the authorities. The EVA and its Members will undoubtedly benefit from the network we will create with our Russian colleagues.”
The Russian National Vending Association was set up in 2005. The Vending Show in Moscow is a yearly event organised for the second time in 2007. Next year’s Vending Show will be organised around the same period (March).
