In order to promote safe sex drive, the UP State AIDS Control
Society has decided to install nearly 250 condom vending machines in
the city at key locations.
While giving this information at a press conference, SP Goyal,
Project Director said, "It has been seen that despite all the
awareness, people still hesitate in asking for condoms from the medical
stores. The result is that they take the risk, which is not good.
Condom vending machine would be a good zero-embarrassment option.”
The points identified for the installation of the condom vending
machines will include malls, cinema halls, market places, hospitals
among others.
