Councillors were recently asked to support other communities
in promoting the merits of municipal tap water over bottled water. The
idea sparked discussion on the possibility of banning bottled water at
local municipal facilities.
“I don’t mind encouraging the use of
tap water, but I would hate to see us ban bottled water,” said
councillor Lori-Lynn Giaschi-Pacini during a recent meeting of the
