July 24, 2014 – LEAF Brands is offering zero-calorie Astro Pop sodas, 100 per cent naturally sweetened zero-calorie
versions of its popular sodas.

Astro Pop sodas use real cane sugar in glass bottles, using
the exact flavours of its Astro Pop lollipop. ‘’They’re perfect for mixing and
matching to create the entire Astro Pop candy experience!’’ said Ellia Kassoff,
LEAF’s chief executive officer, in a release. LEAF has launched three additional varieties; "Zero
Calorie" Pineapple, Passion Fruit, and Cherry in
response to a growing demand for naturally sweetened, zero-calorie products in
the beverage category.

The new sodas are made with the brand's proprietary
sugar-free blend called Ultrasweet. "We
also wanted to create a sweetener which is 100 per cent naturally derived without the
GMOs found in other natural sweeteners,’’ said Kassoff. The sodas are sold in Rocket Fizz
and other specialty stores, with later availability in larger retailers by
year-end. Astro Pop sodas are currently sold in 12-ounce glass bottles with a
suggested retail price of $1.69 US.
