Espresso technology lets users control extraction time
Franke Coffee Systems has launched an iQFlow espresso-making technology aimed at keeping in-cup quality consistent.
The company created its system to address the problem of keeping quantity of coffee, grinding coarseness and extraction time consistent. The challenge of maintaining consistent taste often means constant adjustment of the coarseness settings, Franke said in a press release.
To prevent this problem, iQFlow provides real-time control of extraction time that lets users define the desired taste profile for each individual product based on the extraction time.
The system extracts more aroma under constant pressure over the entire extraction time than previous systems, so that flavour profiles can be customized.
Tedious grinder adjustments are no longer required.
The system helps users guarantee perfect consistency and enjoy premium quality coffee, the company said.
