Former Olympic medalist creates sparkling protein water
David Jenkins, a former U.K. Olympic medalist and founder of NEXT Proteins, Inc., launched his latest invention: Sparkling protein water, “Fizzique.”
This clear, sparkling water boasts 20 grams of protein per 355ml can, and claims that it helps muscle recovery time as well as curbing hunger. It was declared the Editor's Choice and Best Functional Beverage for the 2018 Supply Side West CPG Editor's Choice.
Fizzique is available in two flavours, Strawberry Watermelon and Tropical Lemon. The protein is derived from an addition of whey protein, and the flavours are natural. Each can contains 80 calories, and is also gluten free, GMO free, fat free, sugar free, soy free, and contains no colours or dyes.
The beverage line is available both in the United States and in western Canada.
