Britain launches tax on sugary soft drinks

London – Britain announced last week that it will begin taxing companies that sell drinks with a total sugar content above 5 grams per 100 millilitres. The government plans to spend the money collected from the tax on health programs for school children, The Globe and Mail reports. |READ MORE
