Butler new GM of Nayax North America

Hunt Valley, MD – Industry veteran Glenn Butler has joined Nayax as the general manager of Nayax North America.

Butler co-founded Streamware in 1991, later serving as president of Cantaloupe Systems, VP and CTO of Crane Merchandising Systems, and co-founder of VendScreen. He has been heavily involved in NAMA’s standards initiatives over the years, including co-authoring the NAMA VDI (Vending Data Interchange) DEX Specification, Nayax said in a news release. 

“Our devices are already certified around the world to process card transactions, including Interac in Canada, and are a fully operated EMV solution,” Butler said in the release. “This is best-in-class hardware that is already ready for all types of payment. You can pay with your card, including chip cards which are becoming the standardat all the major retailers across the U.S., as well as with your mobile phone, with Apple Pay, Android Wallet, or Nayax’s own Monyx wallet app.”

Nayax assists operators to process payments directly via their chosen credit card processor. The company provides monitoring and management of operational data from reporting real time MDB data for cash and credit, a configurable alert management system, automated reporting, and sending DEX files to a VDI compliant VMS, and business intelligence (BI) tools to monitor financial and operational data.
