The Canadian Automatic Merchandising Association (CAMA) handed out its annual Canadian Vending & Office Coffee Service Awards on Sept. 16.

September 20, 2011, Simcoe, ON – The Canadian Automatic Merchandising
Association (CAMA) handed out its annual Canadian Vending & Office
Coffee Service Awards on Friday night.

CAMA's Best Salesperson, Jonathan DeGuise, emceed the awards ceremony, which was held at the Hilton Montreal Bonaventure in Montreal.

The Customer Service Award was presented posthumously to Albert De Novellis of Crane National Vendors. De Novellis, who passed away last year, was remembered for his dedication to providing quality service, and his warm, personal approach to business. De Novellis' wife, Belinda, and son, Joseph, accepted the award on his behalf.

The Don Storey Award was presented to Lloyd Dauphinee of Bluenose Vending & Definite Food Service of Dartmouth, N.S. During his acceptance speech, Dauphinee, who retired earlier this year, credited "integrity, honesty and service" for the many successes he has enjoyed throughout his 52 year career.

The Stuart Daw Gold Service Award was presented to Yves Baron of Cafection Enterprises Inc. in Quebec. A video highlighting Baron's long career noted the many contributions he has made to the office coffee service industry, including being the first to introduce recyclable Styrofoam cups in Quebec and designing the Avalon coffee machine.
