Sept. 26, 2012, Niagara Falls, Ont. – The Canadian Automatic
Merchandising Association is gearing up for this weekend’s trade show,
and has released the criteria for its Best Booth and Best Salesperson
awards.

Sept. 26, 2012, Niagara Falls, Ont. – The Canadian Automatic Merchandising Association is gearing up for this weekend’s trade show, and has released the criteria for its Best Booth and Best Salesperson awards.

The judging panel will consists of three to four operator attendees, which will be randomly selected and kept confidential. Judging will take place during show hours on Friday, Sept. 28 and the winners will be announced at the awards dinner later that evening.

The Best Booth will be determined by the following criteria:

  • visual appearance
  • layout
  • accessibility of product
  • ease and ability of asking questions and obtaining further information

The Best Salesperson will be determined by the following criteria:

  • demeanour (welcoming and polite attitude, level of engagement)
  • knowledge of product
  • overall knowledge and understanding of industry/subsector
  • interest demonstrated beyond the immediate sale/questions (offer to follow up, flexible if can’t respond immediately, big picture attitude)

Show festivities begin Sept. 27 with the Fallsview Opening
Reception in the Marriott Fallsview Molinara Room from
5 to 6:30 p.m. Seminars begin at 8:30 a.m. on Sept. 28
with the trade show floor officially opening at 11 a.m. The show closes at
5 p.m and is followed by the President’s Reception and gala awards dinner and
entertainment.
CAMA will host its annual general
meeting Sept. 29, followed by educational sessions beginning at 8:30 a.m. The
show floor will be open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
