July 18, 2013, Toronto – For the first time in more than a decade, Evian has redesigned their bottle.
Sleeker and with cleaner lines, the new Evian bottle leans on transparency to celebrate its contents. The bottle sports a “label-less” look. Its front features a simplified, elegant reduction of the previous logo design. A panorama of mountains celebrates the water’s source in a corner of the French Alps – a region protected by the farming community.
“We’re very excited. Our new bottle allows Evian honest and natural personality to make a new connection with consumers. Evian has been the icon in the category for three decades, yet its vibe and skin had become dated. We wanted to remake the brand so consumers would be proud to once again call it their favourite water. It’s a sharp new look, and we can’t wait to see it here, there, and everywhere.” said Eric O’Toole, President of Danone Waters of North America.
The 500ml bottle design will be available in major grocery stores beginning of August and will retail for $1.99 – $2.49. Additional formats are slated to debut in the following 12 months.
