Pune, India – The international intelligent vending machine market will grow at a CAGR of 38.24 per cent from 2017 to 2021, according to a new report on the industry.

Some of that growth is due to the addition of connectivity to vending machines, Wise Guy Reports, authors of the report, said in a news release.

“Machines can now provide hot and cold beverages, snacks, and food,” the company said. “Intelligent and connected vending machines save a significant amount of time for end users as they offer real-time inventory tracking. Touchscreen capabilities, near-field communication-based (NFC-based) transactions, and cashless transactions are some of the distinguishing features these machines offer. They also support branding and advertising.

The report covers current conditions and growth prospects of the market based on the revenue generated from manufacturer sales of intelligent vending machines.

Topics covered include growing adoption of intelligent vending machines in retail, increasing vandalism and theft, and identifies key market players such as Crane Merchandising Systems, Coin Acceptors, Cubic Corporation and Fuji Electric Global.
