North America – Starbucks has announced an agreement with office coffee service-operator MARS DRINKS that will make Starbucks coffee available at MARS’ single-serve brewers in Canadian and U.S. workplaces beginning this fall.
The deal, made public on July 21, will see three Starbucks Arabica coffee products added to MARS’ beverage line-up: smooth Pike Place Roast, roasty and sweet Caffè Verona, and lightly roasted Veranda Blend. Tazo teas are expected to be added to the line-up at a later date.
Bobby Chacko, regional president and general manager for MARS DRINKS North America, said in a news release the company is proud to add Starbucks coffees to its line-up.
“Through our work café experience, MARS DRINKS brings people together to connect, collaborate and get things done,” Chacko said. “Starbucks complements our existing range and further expands the taste and choice we deliver to workplaces throughout the U.S. and Canada.”
