May 14, 2010 – AMI Entertainment Network is proud to announce the release of the 2010.5 software update for its signature Megatouch Ion and Force products. This release includes a host of refreshed content for several Megatouch favorites and is free to any operator currently running 2010 software.
Trivia Whiz 2 and Mystery Phraze have been updated with entertaining new questions and puzzles, while the Photo Hunt and Photo Pop libraries have been refreshed with challenging new pictures. Also, Megatouch has updated its Penthouse suite of erotic games including Foxy Boxxi, Photo Hunt, Pix Mix, LookOut and PhotoPop.
Additionally, there have been changes to the language capabilities of several Megatouch favorites such as Trivia Whiz 2, where language support has been added for Arabic, German, Finnish, Hungarian, Greek, Thai and Simplified Chinese.
"We always strive to have fresh content," said AJ Russo, AMI Entertainment’s Creative Director.
"The 2010.5 release offers so many content upgrades; players will continue to be drawn into their favorite games!"
The 2010.5 release marks the first time a Megatouch software update is available as a download at the same time the software kits ship.
Connected operators won’t have to wait for their kits to arrive, and then drive to the location to install. Instead, they can simply select which machines to update automatically through the Megatouch operator website.
Megatouch software offers live control over any broadband-connected Ion machine through AMI Access. The online benefits of this feature, as well as MegaNet Core, make operator route management easier than ever, plus it's free.
