Merit Entertainment has always believed top-notch content delivers great earnings for operators and their 2009 Software proves the point. The release, packed with innovative new games as well refreshed trivia, photos and phrases, generates big earnings for operators running it on either converted XL- to Maxx – to Force machines or the newer Aurora models.

Auroras powered by 2009 Software have seen their earnings increase by an average of 28% over the 2008 software. The newest games in this release are proving particularly popular. Trivia Whiz 2, a brand new version of the Megatouch classic, challenges players with new and improved categories and has shot to the number two spot among Merit’s top-earning games. Super Boxxi, the fast-paced spin-off of fan favorite Boxxi, has eclipsed the original to become Megatouch’s third-highest earner. Lucky 11’s, a Las Vegas heist-themed game has proven lucky for operators and comes in at seventh overall. Partnering with Skee-Ball to develop a touchscreen version of that arcade classic has produced the eighth-highest earning game in Merit’s current lineup.
