The National Automatic Merchandising Association (NAMA) has launched a web-based research tool to help vendors in the United States.

A part of NAMA’s remodeled website, the new Economic Impact Tool was designed to help the convenience industry learn how vending affects hiring, taxes and total output. Users can generate either an economic impact report or create an economic impact data table by state. At this stage, NAMA reports that this service is not yet available for Canada.

The Economic Impact of The Convenience Services Industry aims to give vendors a view of how the automatic vending industry impacts the economy. The data gathered for the model came from NAMA, Infogroup, American federal and state government data and IMPLAN.
