“Providing good service is what makes good companies,” said Paul. Excelso won the National Coffee Service Association’s (NCSA) Supplier of the Year in 1995 and 1998. It was the only company to have won the award twice during the history of the NCSA, said  Paul.

Other company awards include Supplier of the Year for Southeastern Refreshment Association and Supplier of the Year for Southern Coffee Break Association. In 2000, Paul was named Employer of the Year by Atlanta Alliance on Developmental Disabilities for Excelso’s work with hiring clients of Creative Enterprises based in Lawrenceville, GA.

Professionally Paul currently serves on three boards of directors: Vending Market Institute, Southeastern Vending Association and Georgia Automatic Merchandising Council.

Paul and his wife Cynthia live in Braselton, a northern suburb of Atlanta.  They have been married for 33 years and have two children, Aaron, 28, and Lauren, 25.

NAMA is the national trade association of the food and refreshment vending, coffee service and foodservice management industries including on-site, commissary, catering, & mobile. Its membership is comprised of service companies, equipment manufacturers and suppliers of products and services to operating service companies.  The basic mission of the association, to collectively advance and promote the automatic merchandising and coffee service industries, still guides NAMA today as it did in 1936, the year of the organization’s founding.
