NAMA names show chairman

June 6, 2008, Chicago – James G. Harris, president of Harris and Pipkin
Vending Inc., in St. Louis, MO, has been named General Expo Chairman
for the 2008 National Automatic Merchandising Association (NAMA)
National Expo.

June 6, 2008, Chicago – James G. Harris, president of Harris and Pipkin Vending Inc., in St. Louis, MO, has been named General Expo Chairman for the 2008 National Automatic Merchandising Association (NAMA) National Expo, which will be held October 15-17  in St. Louis. The National Expo, the world’s largest vending, coffee service and foodservice management exposition, will be held at America’s Center October 15-17, 2008.

In announcing the appointment, NAMA executive vice-president and COO Dan Mathews said, “Jim is an exemplary member of our industry and we are pleased that he has agreed to serve as National Expo Chair. We look forward to collaborating with him as together we launch the industry’s most powerful and highly anticipated event.”

After serving in the U.S. Army Harris joined the family business in 1970, and worked his way up the ladder to president.  “Being a family-owned business we have had the pleasure of continuing relationships started by our founders. Today collectively our employees have 288 years of experience with seven employees having over 25 years of service,” boasts Harris.
