New look, new flavours for Gluten Free Bar

The GFB: Gluten Free Bar, a good-for-you gluten-free food brand, enhanced its line of protein bars this month with new packaging that emphasizes bolder colors, enhanced nutritional graphics and a cut-out window that allows consumers to see what the product looks like before they buy.

The GFB is also introducing new toppings to their gluten-free protein bars like coconut flakes and chopped nuts. The new toppings aim to amplify the crunchier texture and flavour of the original bar. The enhanced protein bars have already started shipping to Canadian stores across the country this month, with a larger North American rollout planned in the first quarter of 2019.

The new crunchier protein bars will be available in all five original varieties, including Peanut Butter, Coconut Cashew Crunch, Cranberry Toasted Almond, Dark Chocolate Coconut, and Chocolate Peanut Butter. They will be available at natural and conventional grocery stores across the country.

“Our foundation is in the protein bar category, yet over the years we’ve expanded to snack bites, oatmeal and other concepts that have been almost immediately embraced by our customers,” said Elliott Rader, co-founder at The GFB in a press release. “The success of our coconut and nut covered bites really inspired us to take a closer look at toppings for our bars and we believe it’s a nice enhancement. Additionally, we believe the updated packaging really represents who we are today and where we want to go as a brand.”

Every GFB protein bar is certified gluten-free, Non GMO, vegan, dairy and soy-free and contains 10 to 12 grams of protein per.
