Coalition aims to ban food advertising to kids

Canada - A coalition of health charities in Canada – including the Heart and Stroke Foundation and the Childhood Obesity Foundation – is pushing for a complete ban on all food and beverage advertising aimed at children and youth. Organizers of the coalition say 90 per cent of food marketed to children is high in sugar, salt and fat, Metro News reports. |READ MORE
