Documents show Ottawa has studied soda tax

Canada - The federal government has considered the option of taxing soft drinks to address obesity rates. A memo obtained by The Canadian Press under the Access to Information Act shows that Finance Minister Bill Morneau’s office requested an internal study into the pros and cons of levying a tax on soda pop, the Toronto Star reports. |READ MORE
