Huge turnout for Venditalia 2018
Venditalia 2018 ended with an increase in vendors, attendees and more international presences.
The 2018 edition of the event, held at Fieramilanocity from the 6th to the 9th of June saw an increase of 20 per cent in vendors compared to 2016. 32,000 square meters were occupied by 14,000 square meters of exhibition stands. Visitors also increased during the 4 days of the exhibition, up by 4 per cent from 2016.
The most important account of the 2018 show was the strong growth of both exhibitors and international visitors: as many as 79 companies raised their attendee amount up to 35 per cent from 2016’s tally. 22 countries and over 4 thousand foreign visitors came to Venditalia.
“It was a great success,” said Mr. Ernesto Piloni, President of Venditalia, in a press release. “The event has confirmed all expectations, even exceeding them with record numbers. The 2018 edition marked an important milestone: turning Venditalia into a leading international exhibition. Among other things, Venditalia has turned 20 years this year and we are very happy to be able to celebrate this anniversary with a truly exceptional edition. My thanks also to all the exhibitors present because I saw a very high quality. All of them have significantly increased the care and refinement of the stands and the quality of their offer, thus contributing significantly to the success of the event, which has a more and more international dimension, as witnessed by the records registered by exhibitors and foreign visitors".
Through 16 events in 3 days between workshops, training conferences and presentations were attended by over 800 people. Topics ranged from more than just vending machines; talks were given on the topics of “technology 4.0,” tax relief of hyper-depreciation, sustainability to the cashless payment methods for vending machines.
