Retro look with a modern hook for Bazooka
Bazooka Candy Brands, a division of The Topps Company, Inc., is returning to its roots with the launch of the Bazooka Throwback pack, but with a modern twist.
The Topps Company returned to past inspirations to recreate the nostalgic design of the gum, but with a nod to today's digitally inclined consumer. Each wrapper also features an original Bazooka fortune as well as a digital code to unlock even more content at bazookajoe.com.
"We are excited to offer our consumers a trip down memory lane with Bazooka Throwback," said Matt Nathanson, Bazooka Brand Manager in a press release. "This new product is a great tribute to the bubble gum brand that has been cherished for generations by kids of all ages." The return of the original comics is particularly exciting, as this re-issue features Bazooka Joe & His Gang comics that have not been seen for decades.
"The number one request we receive from consumers is 'Bring back the comics!'" added Mr. Nathanson, "So we have opened up the Bazooka vault to re-print the timeless original comics – giving Bazooka fans yet another reason to chew!"

Inspired by the brand's iconic original packaging and old-school comic strips, the Bazooka Throwback pack features nostalgic 1980s graphics and Original flavour Bazooka Bubble Gum wrapped in classic comics. The easy to carry, six-count pack will be available at major retailers nation-wide.
