Trade show to host new candy and snack companies through 'Innovation Avenue'

Washington – The 2017 Sweets & Snacks Expo will welcome 20 burgeoning candy and snack companies to Innovation Avenue – a series of areas on the show floor dedicated to start-up companies that are launching their confectionery and snack businesses.

The concept was introduced in 2011 to allow Expo attendees to see unique products and ideas, said the National Confectioners Association, hosts of the event, in a news release. The following exhibitors will participate:

The 2017 Sweets & Snacks Expo is sold out for the fifth consecutive year and will host more than 800 companies. More than 17,000 industry professionals from nearly 90 countries are slated to attend the show.

The Sweets & Snacks Expo, which is hosted by the National Confectioners Association, set for May 23-25 in Chicago.
