Vendies to honour U.K. vending, water industries
London, U.K. – The vending and water industry in the United Kingdom will cast their votes and decide who will be taking home Vendies awards at a ceremony in London on June 28.
Those within the industry in the U.K. are invited to determine who should be honoured for their excellence and innovation over the past 12 months.
Registration has been extended in the water categories, giving companies within the bottled and mains fed water industry a last opportunity to be in the running for an industry award.
These categories have been designed to accurately represent the industry today, and aim to recognize and reward success, innovation and technology. Companies also may enter and nominate for Field Service Engineer of the Year, Team Manager/Supervisor of the Year, Best Environmental Initiative and Best Innovation.
Water and vending are intrinsically linked, as the water used in other drinks such as coffee, tea and juices can affect taste, smell and texture – it is an essential factor in the quality of the finished product, organizer Datateam Business Media said in a news release. As such, companies within the vending industry can also nominate any “hero” water companies that make a significant impact to their business.
