Nominations open for CAMA board of directors
June 28, 2011, Mississauga, ON – The Canadian Automatic Merchandising Association (CAMA) is now accepting nominations for its national board of directors.
Nominations for operator or supplier directors in Ontario, British Columbia/Prairies, Quebec and Atlantic Canada will be accepted until July 15.
The directors will serve two-year terms, commencing in September.
The CAMA board is comprised of a minimum of nine and a maximum of 13 directors. It must include at least one operator member for each region, and no less than two directors representing office coffee services.
Current directors Neil Madden (operator member from Burlington, Ont.) and Gordon Berry (supplier member from Montreal) will continue their work on the board, both serving the second years of their terms.
Kim Lockie will also continue to serve on the board as immediate past president.
A nominating committee is will prepare a slate of candidates to be circulated to all CAMA members in early fall. Final nominations will close 30 days in advance of the annual meeting on Sept. 17, during the CAMA Expo in Montreal.
