Very active until the last few months, Robillard spent most of
life working in the vending industry. He
worked with various vending operators, including Canteen of Canada, but was  best known as Coinco's Montreal branch director for more than three decades. After retiring from Coinco, Gustave started his own service company.

He was awarded the Don Storey Memorial
Award in 1989 for his longtime involvement in CAMA.

A familiar face at SEM, Gustave will be
missed by all the team.

In the picture below, Gustave Robillard
explains how the Coinco mechanical coin acceptor is working at an
educational seminar in the former Laniel Automatic building circa 1970. The open machine we can see in the background
is a Seeburg Marquis Fresh Brew coffee machine, notes Gilbert Guinard of SEM Inc.

machines distributrices dont Canteen of Canada.
