From
college kids to executive in a rush, the vending machine has become an
oasis admist the rush of time and life.  Offering the usual candy bar
or bag of chips, eating from the vending machine isn't as healthy as it
should be.  Then again, who has the time to count calories when they're
in a rush?  Not to mention, most of the food isn't exactly filling so
although it'll satisfy for the moment, in the long run you'll be
craving for more.

I
know there's countless times you've probably thought to yourself how
great it'd be if a vending machine could sell heartier items instead of
snacks.  Of course, you could always run to a nearby fast food place
but there's usually no time for that if you're at the automat to begin
with.  So for most, it's a choice between the bag of Doritos or the
Twix.  Unless, you've found yourself near a BAMN automat facility.

BAMN
has revolutionized the instant food industry by providing good, filling
food on the go.  With delicious choices like NYC corn dogs, macarno and
cheese krokets, and even vegetarian selections, BAMN has made eating
fast as delicious as possible for everyone.  With prices that stay
around $1 to $4, it's hard to resist grabbing a crispy chicken sandwich
instead of a bag of chips, that'll barely fill you up for half an
hour.  Not only do they sell items from their modernized facilities but
they also serve food to be ordered and then made on the premises.

One
of their newest additions to the menu is the 'Garden of Eden Salad',
which is made on the premises upon order.  The savory salad starts at
$4 and for an extra buck they'll throw on some freshly grilled Santa Fe
basil chicken strips.  For health conscious students to anyone on a
diet, this salad is perfect for an on the go meal that won't break your
waist.  I stopped in recently for their corn dogs, which I think are
some of the best around the area.  With a little honey mustard, they're
the perfect on the go treat.  And for those who can't deny their sweet
tooth, BAMN also offers brownies and cookies amongst the rest of the
automat delights.  Of course, there is green-tea flavored soft-serve
for those who are yearning for the sweet taste but would rather pass on
the calories.

Although
the food is great, the atmosphere is definitely another reason to stop
into BAMN.  St. Mark's Place is one of the most happening areas in
Manhattan and is home to BAMN Automat.  From the bright pink paint on
the walls to the flashy, eye-catching lights it's really hard for
people to just walk by BAMN without stopping in.  Not to mention the
overall friendliness of the staff, BAMN makes eating on the go both a
fun and tasty experience.

Open
most days until at least midnight and on Friday and Saturday til 3AM,
it's convenient for anyone's time table.  Founds David Leong and Nobu X
have created the perfect haven for those who need enjoyable food that
keeps them going but have no time to sit and wait.  It's as if someone
asked for both fast and delicious food at unbeatable prices and BAMN,
it's appeared.  Who could ask for more?
