CORE Nutrition launches refrigerated plant-based bars
Former CORE Nutrition CEO, Lance Collins launched a new snack bar company that hits on major food trends such as gut health, gluten-free eating and plant-based snacking.
Collins had previously sold CORE Nutrition to Keurig Dr. Pepper, but wanted to maintain a health food brand. As a result, he bought Core Foods, a snack food brand that sold oat-based meal replacement bars, but is now moving into probiotic vegan bars.
The similarly named company sells refrigerated functional bars in six flavours: Lemon poppy seed, coconut cashew mango, peanut butter, dark chocolate cherry, blueberry banana almond and peanut butter chocolate.
The bars are available through Amazon and Whole Foods.
