Fall officially here: Voortman releases pumpkin spice wafers
Research shows consumers buy certain flavours based on season
Voortman Bakery, cookie company and fast-growing cookie manufacturer, announced the release of its newest seasonal flavours, Apple Crisp and Pumpkin Spice.
Both on-trend flavours will be available as crème wafers, with Pumpkin Spice also available as a cookie, for a limited time.
Synonymous with autumn, these warm flavours invoke a sense of comfort each year as the weather shifts and the air becomes crisp. While developing these seasonal offerings, Voortman’s talented team of bakers skillfully bundled the same flawless mix of sweet and spice, seen in classic Thanksgiving desserts, into one simple, convenient and flavourful snack.
A recent study by Fona International, showcased that 63 per cent of consumers purchase certain flavours based on season. As a result, Voortman turned a once-seasonless wafer category, limited to chocolate, vanilla and strawberry flavours, upside down with its unique seasonal collections, resulting in a dramatic increase in sales and renewed interest in the overall category.
Committed to real quality ingredients and delicious flavour, all of Voortman’s offerings are baked with real ingredients and contain no artificial flavours or colours and no high fructose corn syrup.
