New Finnish rye snacks
Finnish company Fazer created a low-gluten line of crisp breads, a cross between a cracker and flatbread.
These snacks will be presented at the PLMA New Product Expo in Amsterdam between the 21-22 of May.
These roasted thin rye flatbreads have seeds on top for an irresistible look. Made from sourdough, can be enjoyed just as they are, but they also taste great with your favourite toppings or dips. Available in two flavours: melon seeds and pumpkin seeds.
Crisps include 26 per cent of seeds, and the flour used is 100 % wholegrain rye flour.
The crisp breads are high in fibre (15 g) and protein (12–13 g). They are free of additives and are ideal as part of a vegan diet. The crackers are made at Fazer’s bakery in Lahti, Finland.
