"Small business is big business to us. It's important that we work with entrepreneurs," says Lori Ross, vice-president of marketing at Staples. "Offering BizLaunch seminars is just one of the ways we are helping small/home offices grow and succeed. We've had great success with BizLaunch and positive feedback from those attending."

In this challenging economic time, now is one of the best times to think about starting your own business.

"There are over 2.65 million self-employed Canadians," says Roger Pierce, BizLaunch co-founder. "With so many people losing their jobs during this recession, we expect to see an increase in the number of start-ups this year." So far, nearly 6,000 small business owners across Canada have attended a Staples BizLaunch Seminar.

BizLaunch.ca is a Toronto-based firm focusing on coaching and training start-ups. BizLaunch created the seminar topics in cooperation with STAPLES, and will supply experienced business owners to deliver each session within host stores.
