The training renewal foundation
Since 2000, the Training Renewal Foundation has joined
with the Ontario Coffee & Vending Service Association and, more
recently, the Canadian Automatic Merchandising Association to provide
training programs for coffee and vending service technicians, route drivers and warehouse staff.

Oct. 20, 2009 – Since 2000, the Training Renewal Foundation has joined with the Ontario Coffee & Vending Service Association and more recently the Canadian Automatic Merchandising Association to provide training programs for coffee and vending service technicians, route drivers and warehouse staff. These programs have been offered in partnership with the Regions of Peel, York and Waterloo and the City of Toronto.

Ten weeks of theoretical and hands-on training have been hosted by an CAMA member followed by
Four weeks of placement with an industry employer to gain on-the-job experience.

Our latest program sponsored by the Region of Peel being hosted by H-TEK, 1365 Mid-Way Blvd., Unit 24 in Mississauga. Training began on September 14, 2009 and will finish at H-TEK on November 20, 2009. A period of on-the-job placement for our 15 trainees will be from November 23 to December 18, 2009. Trainees are covered for WSIB and liability insurance during placements.
