Snapshot 2 designed for ‘gen Z’
LAI Games has released the Snapshot 2, a photo booth designed to appeal to ‘generation Z,’ the under-18 crowd.
Via a free mobile app, players can choose a variety of ways to interact with the booth: take new photos in the booth, decorate them, and upload them to their mobile phones for sharing on an unlimited number of social networks, the company website says.
Alternatively, they can take photos previously captured on their phones, download them to the booth, and then decorate and print them. On return visits, players log in via QR code and have access to the photos they have previously taken in the booth.
In addition, Snapshot 2 features Instagram-style filters and trendy stamps and accessories to decorate photos, as well as cool backgrounds that players can insert themselves into. The machine utilizes an intuitive touch screen user interface.
The booth also features dual cameras for the classic photo and popular “selfie” angles, and flattering studio lighting. The dye sublimation printer uses low-cost media with no tie-in.
Snapshot 2 is integrated with Google Maps so players can easily find the Snapshot 2 closest to them.
