U-Vend expands presence in Chicago region

June 26, 2014, Santa Monica, CA – U-Vend added 30 Mini-Melt self-serve vending kiosks in Wal-Mart stores
and entertainment centres throughout greater Chicago.

June 26, 2014, Santa Monica, CA – U-Vend added 30 Mini-Melt self-serve vending kiosks in Wal-Mart stores
and entertainment centres throughout greater Chicago.

U-Vend,  which has locations in Stoney Creek, Ont., Chicago and Williamsville, N.Y., has a total installed base of
Mini Melt kiosks in the Chicago region of 75, the
majority of which are located within Wal-Mart venues. The company has expanded the refrigeration and storage capacity at its
Chicago depot to manage the new kiosks as well as the future
rollout of additional machines.

"We're delighted to announce the placement of another thirty
Mini Melt machines in Chicago as we continue to develop our brand and
increase the number of U-Vend kiosks in the region," said Raymond
Meyers, U-Vend CEO, in a media statement. "In addition, we are cultivating a number of
revenue-meaningful relationships with both national and international
footprint implications, as the cost-savings attributes and stand-alone
applications for our self-serve, electronic kiosks continue to appeal to
numerous consumer/retail industries." 


In October 2013, U-Vend signed an operator agreement for the
distribution and sale of Mini Melts USA products throughout the region. Mini Melts is a frozen ice cream
product produced using the instantaneous freezing
capabilities of liquid nitrogen.
